It was fine. Karolina didn't really expect anyone to know how to react to her life's story. She knew it was a lot, even when she didn't go into the details of just how much lot there actually was.

She just smiled a little. It got slightly less lopsided, too. "Thanks," she said, with a sheepish kind of sincerity. "I'm trying."

A beat, and she gave a soft snort and shook her head.

"I... pretty much just said that already, right?"
