Guidance Counselor's Office, Wednesday

This week, there were no major technical difficulties happening in the guidance counselor's office, and for that, Karolina was thankful.

There were, a however, a lot of apples on her desk. Like a lot. A lot a lot. It was kind of a pyramid of apples, right on her desk, and she was worried about whether touching it would lead to all the apples rolling off onto the floor and into different directions.

"And these aren't even in season," she said incredulously, to no one in particular. As if that was a thing that had ever swayed Fandom before.

Beau had been taking a little tour of the school campus today, just a sort of casual and apparently disinterested meander. She'd thought she might go check out the library -- not because she was looking for anything, just to surreptitiously see how it stacked up in comparison to the Archive of the Cobalt Soul.

But she couldn't be seen doing that, so she was wandering through the teachers' office wing instead of taking the direct route.

The apple that rolled out into the hallway caught her attention; she scooped it up and tossed it in her hand a few times before leaning through the doorway.

"Hey, you dropped your, uh -- " The pyramid was kind of hard to miss, and she raised her eyebrows in amusement. "You have enough apples there?"

It came out sounding slightly mocking. As usual, she figured that people were going to dislike her anyway, so she might as well make sure she was the one who set the tone for that.
