LA, Wednesday Evening FT

Karolina's plan of spending a couple of weeks with the rest of the group while Victor settled in... Yeah, it had turned into almost two months by now. It was funny how time just sort of went whooshing by when you were constantly battling evildoers on the streets of your hometown. And after a few weeks, it had no longer made sense to come back to Fandom when she'd already missed half the first summer term. But Victor was seeming to be at home in the group by now, and the second summer term would be starting next week. Karolina had decided it was time to go back. She'd even already sent an invite to Liara to come spend the weekend in Los Angeles so they could come back to Fandom together.

But today? They'd had a long, confusing fight against the Swarm – a guy made of bees – which had involved Karolina having to fly Nico back from some miles outside LA due to a spell that backfired, so she was pretty content to just flop down on her bed at the Hostel and play a game on her phone.
